Summer Camp 2012

2012 MORNINGSIDE DAY OUT SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Our summer program is a time for safe, relaxed fun in the sun. MDO is a cool place to be! Children have outside water play, music, art, creative movement and participate in many special activities centered around learning about water and insects. During these school wide units we will have many activities and celebrate special days such as "chalk", "bubble” and "frozen treat" day. Two sessions will be offered for the 2012 summer camp program.

MDO offers summer classes for children from age 6 months up to children who have turned 5 during this school year. In most classes, children who are currently enrolled at MDO will continue in their present class placement. Classes may be changed, however, as registration dictates. Children in the Baby class must be at least 6 months and no older than 2 as of 9/1/2012. Children under the age of 2 may be registered for no more than 2 days per week. Once children have reached their second birthday, they may attend as many as three days based on the director’s discretion. During the summer we offer one class for Multi-age (3, 4, & 5 year old) children, attending at least three days per week.

Registration

Open enrollment for new families begins on April 11th. Please print the registration form available here; complete it and mail it to the P.O. Box listed below - the postmark must be April 11th or later. Priority is given to siblings of current or past enrollees and members of the Peachtree Baptist Church. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis within the priority designations.

Please submit a separate form for each child you are registering and enclose a check for the $35.00 registration fee, plus a deposit of $90.00 (1 session) or $180.00 (2 sessions).  This registration fee/deposit is refundable only if we are unable to schedule your child.

Summer Camp 2012 Sessions:
Session I: June 4 - 29
Session II: July 5 - 31

You will receive a Summer Enrollment Confirmation Letter confirming the days and fees when your child has been accepted into the program. Your child is not enrolled until you receive the Enrollment Confirmation Letter, and we receive your registration fee.  Your deposit ($90 per session) will be applied to your monthly Summer tuition.  The tuition balance is due upon acceptance.

Once your child is accepted, you will be required to complete a confidential information form, emergency treatment form, a phone file card, and your child’s current immunization certification. These forms must be completed and on file on or before your child’s first day at MDO.

Summer monthly tuition is based on the number of days per week your child is registered to attend school.

Summer 2012 tuition schedule:

1 day: $90.00/month
2 days: $180.00/month
3 days: $270.00/month
4 days: $360.00/month
